Sonoglide® FE 20 is a very high-performance couplant specially formulated for ferrous metals where short-term corrosion is a concern. A broad operating temperature range (-60 to 250°F / -51 to 121°C) makes Sonoglide FE 20 a good choice for low and elevated-temperature inspections.
The medium viscosity gel couplant is slow drying for longer inspection time, provides good transducer lubrication and is self-leveling for fast coverage over wide areas. It remains stable on corroded or salt covered surfaces and offers excellent acoustic properties.
