Technical expertise in specification compliance and applications
Bottles, boxes and shipping labels for domestic customers
Retest of out of specification samples free of charge
Subscription service so only one Purchase Order needs to be submitted per year for testing
Five business day turnaround time
Test results are emailed to customers when completed
Email reminders to send in samples monthly or quarterly
All test results are retained for Ten Years in our PeneCert quality database
Highly trained technicians test all PeneCert samples and are trained in the testing requirements of specifications, such as AMS 2644, ASTM E1444, ASME, ISO, ASTM E 165, Navsea, Rolls Royce, Pratt and Whitney, among others.
Testing results are obtained with the use of advanced laboratory equipment and every piece of equipment has been modernized and checked for optimum performance. This ensures that you receive the quality and accuracy that have come to expect from Magnaflux.
The turnaround time for a sample is five business day from the time of arrival at our facility. This includes verifying the sample information, testing, and production of the certification which is emailed to the customer. Expedited testing is available for customers that need even quicker test results. Maganflux also stores the data which is accessible for ten years if required by the customer.
Magnaflux works with our customers as a laboratory partner. If the result does not meet specification or fails testing in some other way, the PeneCert technician will call or email the customer to let them know of the result immediately and give them the option to resubmit another sample to verify results. Technical specialists can offer advice on issues and specification compliance for those customers that are in need guidance.
We do not only provide test results to our customers; we want to be a partner in their business and provide them with solutions to their problems to help maintain their system compliance.
We recently had a customer who forgot to send in samples for the month with an audit scheduled for that week. The customer overnighted the samples and the PeneCert technician was able to run the tests that same day and get the results and certification back to the customer before the audit.
One customer had roof damage from a massive storm and they were concerned that the penetrant tanks had become contaminated with rain water. A Magnaflux product manager in contact with the customer had them submit samples of their tanks to the PeneCert Lab. The technician ran water content tests on the tank samples and found that there was no water contamination. The customer was able to keep the tanks full of penetrant, saving them time and thousands of dollars.
We strive to meet and exceed our customers’ needs with the services we offer as part of the Magnaflux culture and quality that our customers expect and receive. Please contact Customer Service if you are interested in more information on our PeneCert testing program or visit our website Magnaflux.com.
